About me
Jenny Grinstead is registered Psychologist with over 15 years experience providing counselling, training, and consultation. Her professional practice includes providing assessment and counselling in a variety of settings and client groups.

Following completion of her Psychology qualification, Jenny worked with a wide range of clients before moving into occupational rehabilitation and the government welfare sector. She then moved into private practice and continued to work with a wide range of clients, and works particularly with those with disordered eating, body image concerns, and chronic health issues.

Jenny is passionate about supporting emotional growth, positive change and assisting clients develop insight into unhelpful interpersonal patterns. Her therapeutic approach is empathic, non-judgemental, intuitive and client-centred. She believes therapy is a safe space for clients to express themselves honestly, get to understand their true feelings via development of insight and psychological skills. She feels that therapy can play a crucial role in enabling clients to have a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
